Russ, yes all a bit weird, I thought he was pretty poor at Spurs so was surprised at how much Barcelona paid for him, only to loan him back a year later. I reckon there's some tax dodge/agent shenanigans going on.

I find the Paulinho one very strange. He played regualry for Barca last season and then fucks off back to China. I thought he would be prized by some of the European top clubs. He's decent and such a waste him being over there. But he probably doesn't give a fuck when he see's his wages.
